Three simple ways for a charity to get involved:
1.Work with the Boating Community to secure a parade entry
- Asking a friend/associate to host your charity on their boat
- Working with inexpensive charter companies / Boat Clubs to secure a parade entry: Water Taxi, Carefree boat clubs
2.Submit a request with Winterfest to ask existing parade entries to host a sign promoting their charity.
- Winterfest is currently encouraging the non-profit to reach out to the boating community to develop a parade entry – since Winterfest reducing the entry fee to $35.
- Sign will be limited in size and there is NO GUARANTEE a parade entry will agree to host your charity name on their boat
3. Showboats – showing a non-profit how to make revenue with a WOW entry
